Welcome to Discovering Grace Coaching,

I am a caring person who loves interacting with people and expanding my horizons. I am a mother of 6 and grandmother of 2. I currently live in Hayward, Wisconsin. My coaching is done via the Internet or by phone.

In my life, I have experienced many styles of relating with people, ranging from easy to destructive.

I fought breast cancer in 2015 and 2016. I learned to know God personally during that experience and discovered that everything in our lives is intertwined. We can't separate ill health, difficult circumstances, and poor relationships. How we live our lives in all areas is so important.

I have spent several years studying health, domestic abuse, the effects of trauma on the brain, and coaching and mentoring skills. This education has created Discovering Grace Coaching to help women find grace in challenging times. We all need a lot of grace as we navigate the trials of life. Showing grace to ourselves is a skill many of us have yet to learn. I want to be someone who can hold grace for you, my client. I want to stay curious and make this a judgment-free place for you.

My heart reaches out to those of you in complex or destructive relationships and their effect on your life. With my life experiences and training, I can listen deeply and compassionately and help you find the inner strength and skills you need to help you in your journey. I wish I would have had these resources earlier in my life as they would have helped me in my marriage and with my family.

I recognize that each of us has our own story and it is my goal to honor each of your stories as we work together. We are all unique individuals, and not one of our stories is the same, but we have been given wisdom, and I believe I can help you live out of that wisdom for a beautiful life.

If this resonates with you, I would love to meet with you for a free 30-minute consultation to see how I can help you.

Sincerely Dorothy Mullet

Thoughts on Nurturing by Virginia Satir

Satir saw a nourishing environment as one in which people experience being valued and are made to feel comfortable and safe. She once said, "You can't make a bean plant grow by jerking on it."
